Who can resist a Gingerbread House? One of these hanging felt ornaments will look fabulous decorating your Christmas tree, or tied to a gift wrapped present. Ooh, and there's also hot chocolate and chocolate sundae cottages too - complete with whipped cream.
I have 4 in stock - 1 of each style.
You can choose from a pink or brown gingerbread house - both on a pink felt backgrounds, or a chocolate sundae or hot chocolate cottage, both on brown felt. The prints do vary a little (some are reversed or have different decorative features) but they are all similar to the photos.
Part of my zero waste approach to crafting, these decorations are made using offcuts of quilting cotton fabric from making my Christmas stockings and aprons - this is a beautiful print in hot pink and chocolate brown, on a stunning turquoise background.
Each house has been fussy cut to echo the shape of the motif, and machine appliqued with a tiny blanket stitch to a white wool felt backing. This is then carefully cut to shape by hand, before stitching to another layer of coloured felt that is also trimmed by hand.
A white ribbon is securely sewn between the layers of felt to create the hanging loop.
Approximately 4.5 inches tall, with a 2 inch hanging loop.
