Full description
This one of a kind pendant has been entirely handmade. The labradorite stone has been set in a substantial sterling silver setting with six prongs. A graceful hand saw pierced sterling silver whale sweeps across the front of the pendant and their calf swims calmly below. The labradorite has green, blue and sometimes yellow flashes, reminiscent of the depths of the ocean. Silver prongs bend around the back of the pendant to encase the stone and a tiny granulated 9 carat gold ball sits on top of three of them. The pendant measures approximately 3.6cm in diameter. It is designed as a substantial piece for people who like their jewellery to be noticed. It would make a special and unique gift.
This piece has been hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay office.
