Full description
Inspired by blustery Autumn walks, this brooch is intended to encapsulate the mood of the Autumn and Winter season. It would make the perfect gift for anyone who loves nature. The leaf itself is hand drawn and hand saw pierced from sterling silver sheet and at its centre is a sweet copper red squirrel with a highly polished body and an engraved copper tail. The brooch pin and findings have also been handmade. As silver is a soft metal, the pin should be treated with care.
This is a substantial piece, measuring approximately 4.3 x 3.9 cm. It has been hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay Office.
