Making small batch and one of a kind fused glass treasures on the north coast of Ireland.
I knew this 'petrified wood' streaky glass would give depth and variation in each of the robins.
The glass transforms in the kiln and changes colour, so its always a joy to open the kiln and see what has emerged!

Full description
Each part of this adorable Christmas robin has been cut by hand, edges smoothed with a grinder, cleaned and assembled before firing in the kiln.
Extra details such as the copper wire legs, eyes and colourful yellow beak, give it even more appeal.
The body, head, wings and tail have been cut from a special glass called 'petrified wood'. This unusual glass is streaky and has multiple colour variations within. Traditional red has been used for the breast of the robin.
A premium red satin ribbon for hanging completes the decoration and it is presented in a luxury gift box.
Each robin will vary slightly due to the nature of the glass.
Measures 10/11 cm approx.
