Just to let everyone know the shop will shut for Christmas on Sunday 14th December this year.
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. A little mouse in a warm spring cape for long walks through the meadows on chilly spring mornings. The cape is wool felt trimmed with tiny buttons and lined with a rich brown tweedy Japanese yarn dye
She is part of a late autumn collection of mohair mice ready for a walk in the woods.

Full description
This is Aelfryth, a tiny brown mohair mouse. She is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. She is dressed in a rich warmbrown lined wool felt cape over a Liberty Tana Lawn print cotton dress called Mitsi. She has coordinating underskirts and cotton lace bloomers. Her dress and cape are finished with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and little leather shoes.
She is softly stuffed with chamomile flowers in her stuffing for a gentle scent and she has a tiny citrine crystal at her heart for clarity She has a brass ring to her back in case you want to place her on the wall.
She stands 7 inches tall
She is a folk doll for grown ups and sadly is not suitable for children to play with.
