These jackets began with the silk linings: way to showcase the colours I coax from plants I grow in my garden or gather on walks.
I wanted to make something that felt easy to wear but still special: an everyday layer with a quiet kind of magic inside

Full description
Inside this jacket is the real magic: a lining of hand-dyed silk, coloured with Buddleia branches to amazingly create a glowing yellow that shifts gently across the fabric. Plant dyes never repeat themselves — each lining carries its own quiet story.
The outer is ramie/cotton mix, a strong and breathable nettle-linen fibre. Cut with roomy kimono sleeves and a relaxed, unstructured shape, this jacket is designed to be an easy, throw-on layer.
A one-size fit, tried on UK sizes 10–18 and sits beautifully across different shapes. Shown on a size 16, 5ft 6
Made slowly in my loft workspace using natural fibres and small-batch dyes.
Please wash gently with a pH-neutral detergent (such as Ecover) and keep out of sunlight when drying.
