I am a self taught textile artist who works mainly in recycled/upcycled fabrics to make home wares and accessories
The inspiration for this was to use up those lovely scraps of fabric which I can’t bear to throw away, whilst creating something functional but fun. We all need storage pots, or even just as something to make you smile.

These storage pots can be used for so many things - make-up brushes always missing?
I hate waste - so designed these storage pots to use up all those pieces of fabric which are too lovely to throw away, and they are so useful.
This one is perfect for a desk tidy, pen pot, make up brushes or why not display a faux plant.
NB the pots are not waterproof.
This particular storage pot is made from offcuts of curtain samples of a cream background with a heavy pattern of mustard, yellow and green leaves. Flying in between the foliage is a hand embroidered bluetit.
The pot has been interlined with an iron-on interfacing and lined in a contrasting brown/yellow check fabric which was also a curtain sample.
As I source fabrics whenever and wherever I found them, I’m not always certain of fibre content but think both these are mixed fibres.
