On 8th November 2025 I joined Folksy.
I am so looking forward to showing my jewellery here and am now working on photos and descriptions for my new Folksy shop.
I enjoy working with copper wire, it's beautifully malleable and lightweight. I was particularly drawn to the gorgeous, light mauve colour of the Cats Eye beads with their chatoyancy. I knew that adding an antique finish to the copper would contrast wonderfully with the colour of these beads.

Copper wire weave Cats Eye non-tarnishing earrings with hypoallergenic ear wires
Dainty, round earrings created by weaving with copper wire. I oxidised the copper to give an attractive antique finish which contrasts wonderfully with the mauve colour of the lovely Cats Eye beads.
After thoroughly polishing by hand, I applied a generous coat of Everbrite to protect the earrings from tarnish.
The ear wires are Niobium and have excellent hypoallergenic properties, so are a perfect choice if you have sensitivities to other metals.
The earrings measure approximately 1cm by 1cm.
The ear wires are 2cm long.
Your earrings will be sent safely cushioned in an eco and FSC Certified Gift Box and will arrive securely by free Royal Mail Tracked postage.
