The Lotus Flower knitting pattern is very popular and I wanted to add my own creativity to it. So I used two or three different merino wool yarns together for the flowers to give them a unique look> I love working with hand dyed wool as it has such wonderful shades - no two skeins are ever the same. I also like to cater for all sizes of head and these are both small adult, but will also fit a teen or older child.

Hand knit Ear Warmer / Headbands in Lotus Flower design. Made in super chunky merino wool. Will fit a small adult or older child / teenager.
The fine fibres in merino wool make it soft and non itchy to most people. Natural fibres, will keep you warm, but its also heat regulating, so you won't overheat. Headbands are great for keeping out the wind and stopping your hair blowing in your face!
1. Natural white and Blue. Made from good quality merino wool in a natural colour, with flowers in premium, hand-dyed merino in shades of blue and a finer strand in contrasting autumn colours, giving the headband a completely unique look. The height of the headband is approx. 9 cm.
2. Natural white and Green. Made from good quality merino wool in natural and green colours, with a contracting strand in the flowers of premium, hand-dyed merino in autumn colours, giving the headband a completely unique look. The height of the headband is approx. 10.5 cm.
Merino wool is light and soft and also has anti-bacterial properties so it doesn't need washing as much. As these versions contains light and dark coloured yarns, I would suggest you try spot cleaning first.
