I love seeing little kids in this style of hat, they look so cute, so I set about creating one. I wanted it to be a thick weight so it would be nice and warm and I love knitting with two yarns at once as it created a truly unique colour mix. I tried it on my granddaughter how is almost four, but it was small for her, so it would be ideal for a toddler.

Full description
Thick, cosy and warm Child's bonnet or split brim beanie, to fit a toddler aged child. Hand knit in two premium acrylic yarns - one mustard yellow and the other in a range of browns and teal greens - worked together to give a unique look. There won't be another baby hat like yours!
It has a geometric textured pattern around the split brim and is finished with two plats or braids at the front edges and an optional faux fur pompom in honey beige with dark tips, that is removable. But you prefer it without just select the appropriate option.
Working the two yarns together makes them super chunky weight, so they will be warm and cosy against the winter chill.
To care for your item, please hand wash in warm water and dry flat if possible to keep its shape. Remove the pompom before washing.
Please be aware that all screens are different and there my be some variations in colour with the actual product.
