I love the subtle colour changes with this basket from the Old French yellow-tan and the green from the Dicky Meadows on the side weave. The Catalan style border also gives a rounder feel to the rim in contrast to the squarer corners of the base.
Each basket is unique with its own natural pattern and shape. Even though the rods are sorted for each style they still weave in their own quirky ways, and some have darker ends or tips creating different colour patterns. Which adds to the fun of not knowing exactly how a basket will turn out.

I use re-usable packaging for postage wherever possible to support the environment.
If your basket is kept in direct sunlight the willow colours will fade over time. Being a natural material the colours soften and become paler.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

An upright sided rectangular basket with a handle and Catalan style base.
Width – 27 cm
Length – 36 cm
Height – 28 cm (approx) including handle
Height – 12 cm (approx) - to the rim
The basket is made using Old French and Dicky Meadows willow from Somerset.
The rectangular base is made with a pre prepared willow frame based on a Catalan style of weaving.
I used 3ft, 4ft and 6ft long willow which would have been counted out, soaked for three to six days, and left to mellow overnight before being woven into this decorative and useful basket
