Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.
I originally stitched the 3 pictures back in 2018 when we were having quite a journey within our house move and the story within the pieces was how I was feeling at the time, from the neutral and red when things were up in the air, to the blue when things felt out of our reach, to the pink when things were almost in our reach. I wrote a little story on my instagram too. My love of Bunnies too helped and the design is a firm favourite, so I have made these lovely bookmarks to share.

Printed ‘Bunny at sea’ printed laminated bookmark by Michelle Corbin
An original fabric applique and free machine embroidered design, embellished with hand embroidery and repurposed buttons. Photographed to a high quality and printed onto 150 gsm cardstock and laminated inhouse, with a matching satin ribbon attached.
