Capturing moments of joy is my favourite thing to do! I love pastry and I love to see food that's presented in a beautiful way. This tartlet caught my eye and I knew, I didn't just want to eat it, but I wanted to paint it too!

Full description
This original watercolour illustration captures a delicious caramel apple tartlet, with layers of apples soaked in caramel, placed on a rustic green plate with golden rim. To elevate the dish, there's a small sprig of rosemary, and sprinkled with icing sugar - perfect for Christmas.
This is an original painting - not a print.

Painted on Hot pressed 300gsm watercolour paper using Mei Liang watercolour paints.
