I made this piece to honour the idea of the familiar, not just as a magical helper, but as a companion spirit that protects and comforts. Black cats and voids are such gentle beautiful creatures. I have one called Bonnie! Each one is hand-painted on reclaimed wood, blending old materials with new energy. It’s my way of giving life back to something once forgotten.

Painted in rich matte black, purple, and gold with touches of red for warmth and life, these pieces celebrate the quiet power and mystery of the feline as a companion between worlds.

Each piece Is painted and sealed by hand using eco-friendly acrylics and varnish
