Rescued. Repainted. Revered. Every piece with a story to tell.

Hello, I'm Tace, the artist behind MsMisfits.
I paint folk art on reclaimed wood: cat familiars, sacred hearts and watchful eyes, all made to look after the home they end up in. Every piece starts with wood that already had a life, an offcut or a rescued board that would otherwise be thrown away, and I turn it into something bold, colourful and a little bit magic.

Folk art has always been about love, luck and protection, and that's what I'm painting. Each piece is one of a kind, painted by hand, never replicated. MsMisfits is for the odd ones out, the second-chance things and the people who never quite fit the mould. If you feel like a misfit yourself, you're in the right place.

I take commissions too, including your own cat painted as a familiar. Send me a message and we'll chat about it.
Thank you for stopping by.
