The painting is inspired by a view from my camper van at a campsite I stayed at near Gargrave in the Yorkshire Dales on a crisp, sunny autumnal day a couple of years ago. I did sketches in a sketch book and took lots of pictures.

Limited edition (of 50) 'Dales Big Sky' giclée print scanned from my original watercolour painting of the same name. Printed by me using light-fast pigment inks on sheets of Bockingford Inkjet Watewrcolour Paper. The original painting was done on handmade paper and the effect of the surface of this paper on the watercolour paint is visible on the print, it is very true to the original piece.
