I, like many, now need reading glasses but many of the off the shelf ones were a little boring for an old hippie like me.. so I designed and made my own,.. I had some of the upcycled boho fabric I'd created left so I made a few more to sell.

Full description
A beautiful purple and pink mix unique upcycled fabric bohemian hippie glasses, (sunglasses, spectacles) case.
Each one is has been handcrafted from various fabric and trimming scraps, e.g. from dress/curtain fabrics, lace and saris etc. Then over-layed with gorgeously iridescent organza and golden thread (in a crazy patchwork style) and trimmed with purple binding. Each one is slightly different.
The back is made from a coordinating plain textured purple fabric.
There is no additional padding to this case but the various layers involved in creating the front and the back offer a good amount of protection to it's contents.
There is a little brass magnetic press stud at the opening to help keep the contents inside.
I've added my black and gold 'Catkins' designer label to the front.
Suitable for use with many styles and sizes of glasses/sunglasses.
I personally use one like this for my reading glasses and sunglasses which have those chunkier frames.
It measures approx 8.5cm wide x 17.5cm long.
To clean, I'd suggest simply wiping over with a damp cloth or makeup wipe.
I only have 5 of these purple cases available. They are very unique so once they're gone they really are gone...and all are now listed here in my Folksy shop. The latter photos I've added here show all 5 simply for clarity.
