From Beautiful Bohemian Bags to Glam, Glitter and Gonks

I’m Catkins and welcome to my Folksy shop… “Catkins-Boho-Tique”.

I’m an Artist/Designer/Seamstress by trade and I my aim is to create an eclectic mix of unique, often ‘one of a kind’ items which folks will wish to either buy either for themselves or to give as gifts to friends and family.
Each piece in my shop has been hand made and has been carefully crafted with lots of attention to detail and a commitment to hopefully always offering buyers something a little different.

I love to design and create unique fabric items from scratch and/or from upcycling, e.g. like my bohemian hippie, gypsy bags and glasses cases created from various fabric scraps, jewelry, lace and metal trinkets.

As well as the above I design and decorate other items I sell that are made in collaboration with very my talented other half (Tomcat), who creates wonderful items from wood in his spare time e.g. like our wood turned Witches, Wizards, and Rock Gonk Incense burners and Shelf Sitters that you’ll also now find in my shop.

We’ve both sold lots of items over the last few years, originally just to family and friends but then also locally via the Artisan Craft Markets etc but as I already had the Folksy Shop set up (I just hadn’t really used it) it seemed silly not to update it a little and opt now to create the perfect online space for selling some of our latest creations a little further afield…
