Full description
Christmas red - with gold and green. A rich tapestry of textiles and co-ordinating ribbons, yarns, threads and buttons in traditional festive colours. My mismatch boxes of fabrics and trims have been put together using bits and pieces left over from my themed slow stitching kits - a perfect zero waste.
Perfectly imperfect - these are the same standard as my curated kits (and inspiration packs I sell in my supplies shop), but each box will have different combination of pieces.
In your box you will find a calico foundation piece, some pins and a needle and 4 lengths of embroidery thread in different colours. Plus my stitch guide and introduction to slow stitching.
The exact decorative fabrics and trims in each box will differ, but they wlll all include:
- a Christmas motif (hand or machine embroidered) or a snippet of tapestry
- brocades and silks
- velvet from vintage curtains
- Welsh wool blanket
- hand-stitched antique Welsh quilt
- floral and plain quilting cotton
- upholstery trims
- tapestry, darning and knitting yarns
- hand dyed wool & linen yarns
- vintage lace, ribbon and tape
- vintage and pre-loved buttons
