My work is inspired by a love of simple, handmade pieces that bring warmth, character, and a touch of happiness into everyday life. I’ve always believed that the things we use and give should mean something — that a bowl, a mug, or a small decoration can carry a story, a smile, or a memory.
Much of my inspiration comes from the world around me — from the charm of animals, the playfulness of childhood, and the beauty found in ordinary moments. My children’s pieces are full of bright colours, cheerful motifs, and a sense of fun — inspired by imagination, storytelling, and the wonder of being little.
Each piece begins as a blank canvas of clay and becomes something unique through the process of shaping, painting, and glazing by hand. I love that every brushstroke adds its own personality, that no two items are ever quite the same. My aim is always to create ceramics that feel personal and full of heart and soul.
