Full description
This unique and historic ballpoint pen made from reclaimed certified wood from HMS Victory during restoration work. The wood is hand turned by me in my own workshop and this is the actual pen you will receive.
The wood is obtained from a reputable dealer in the UK and a certificate of authenticity, provided by the supplier, will be included with the pen (see pictures). The metal pen parts are obtained from another UK provider, renowned worldwide for supplying premium pen parts for woodturners. The ballpoint pen is a twist action finial mechanism and is supplied with black ink. The fittings are in premium quality black titanium and Rubidium. This is an expensive and exclusive pen due to its historic value hence I wanted to use the highest quality pen parts in its construction.
In 1805, the HMS Victory, under the command of Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson, sailed into the Battle of Trafalgar. The ship, a symbol of British naval power, led the charge against Napoleon's combined fleets, securing a decisive victory that would shape the course of history.
Now, over two centuries later, a piece of that history is in your hands. This pen is crafted from oak salvaged from the HMS Victory herself, wood that witnessed the roar of cannons, the salt spray of the sea, and the courage of the men who sailed in her. Comes with a free case.
Owning this pen is more than just owning a writing instrument; it's owning a piece of history.
