Full description
All the little houses have been hand stitched using vintage linen for the body of the houses and assorted cotton for the roof and doors. The visible stitching has been done with embroidery thread. The little ladies are tiny and I took my inspiration for them from Guatemalan worry dolls. Mine have been made from papier mache and wrapped with embroidery thread and fabric. The hanger is rusty twisted wire.
The whole ensemble measures about 21cms from the base of the driftwood to the top of the wire and is 25cms wide.
