Necklace & Earrings, Handmade, Dorset & Yorkshire Buttons, Kumihimo Braid, Gold
This hand crafted necklace and earrings set consists of seven Dorset buttons, two Yorkshire buttons and a Kumihimo braid. The colours are gold, orange, yellow and a little soft green.
The buttons are made with a variegated silk thread, cotton thread and brass rings. The spherical Yorkshire buttons are made with the same silk thread and are stuffed with polyester filling. The Kumihimo cord is made with the silk and cotton threads.
All the findings are nickel-free silver plated. The necklace has an adjustable lobster clasp and chain, and the earrings have hanging ear wires.
I designed and made this set to my own design so you won't see another one like it.

Necklace - adjustable from 22" to 24" external circumference
Central Dorset button 1.25" diameter
Earrings - total drop 2.5"
