I do love a ceramic ghost. I do also love a crackle glaze which has been inked to make it look like a cracked Victorian bathroom! I was terrible at Shakespeare but I do love a bit of spooky drama, and the thought of a failed actor whistling through the Globe theatre, skull in hand for eternity tickled me!

Full description
Handmade, white earthenware ceramic ghost. The Shakespearean Ghost is channeling his inner Hamlet. With Elizabethan neck ruff and alas, poor Yoric in hand he is the shadow of the serious actor who never made it to The Globe.
Each ghost is made and glazed by me, by hand so each one is different. They have a crackle glaze enhanced with ink for an antique effect, a white neck ruff and a tiny skull in hand. They are hollow to give you options to display e.g. popping them on a cane/stick!
AM AN EARTHENWARE CREATION - that means that although I am beautiful and strong, I should ideally spend my life indoors. I can be put outside during warmer, dry weather but please take me back inside when it gets wet and cold so that the frost and damp don't cause me to crack.
Each ghost measures approx. 9cm high.
