Happy New Year! I’m back and I’ve got lots of spoons for you to choose from. Stay tuned for some bargains (stash them away for next Christmas!) and enjoy browsing my daftness… please note that I’m not currently able to take custom orders, I have a shoulder issue that I need to sort out before I can start hammering again!
May 2026 be good to you x

A hand stamped vintage nickel silver dessertspoon handstamped with the words YES. I DID JUST GIVE YOU AN OLD SPOON FOR XMAS. DEAL WITH IT. It's a battered but serviceable spoon with a 'fiddle pattern' handle, measuring approximately 18cm long. A great joke present for winding up an entitled teenager or getting back at someone who always says their presents are rubbish! (Whether or not you then give them anything else is up to you!)
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive one or other of the spoons shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic and waterbased acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note this is a vintage metal alloy spoon (likely 1930s-1940s) so it has scratches, dings, tarnish and wear marks in accordance with its age. And it won't polish to a nice 'white' silver colour like a plated spoon, it'll always have that slightly brassy tone. If you were looking for a mirror-finished brand new spoon, this isn't one. But then that is kind of the point... and it is in the bargain bin...
