Abalone shell is just beautiful and I've had this piece sitting in my box of trinkets for years now because I don't want to part with it, but I'd rather someone have it who loves it and will wear it so decided to make this necklace. It holds some gorgeous colours that remind me of bursting nebulas.

Full description
This lovely colourful abalone shell is quite a beauty. I didn't want to take away the natural beauty of it when turning it into a pendant and so have used minimal wire to hold it in place to form the pendant. It hangs from a long sterling silver snake chain necklace of 30 inches which is hallmarked, the pendant is it not. If you would prefer a different length necklace please get in touch for availability and price adjustment.
The pendant measures 45mm in diameter with hole of 20 mm diameter and it slightly convex but can also be worn concave depending which colours you want to show. It is quite a striking pendant but will flatter any outfit whilst maintaining its own impact. It looks particularly good over a rollneck jumper or in the summer with a long floaty dress.
To help you look after and care for the pendant I will provide a box and little piece of polishing cloth for you to use. I advise you to keep it in its box when not worn and don't wear when in water. If using perfumes or lotions please don't allow the solution to go on the pendant. This will keep it at its best for you.
