Using organic casting techniques is quite exciting because you never know what you're going to end up with as you pour the molten silver over your chosen items. It can be quite challenging to come up with designs that work with your nuggets to create wearable jewellery and I like to use my imagination when making jewellery to create something that is one off. This technique allows me to do that and will be used in more of my jewellery.

Full description
This is a very unusual and unique ring handmade using recycled sterling silver. I have used an organic casting technique where molten silver is poured over objects to form interesting and unique patterns, in this case I used chick peas.
To create the finished ring I formed a flat band and then soldered the organic nugget to it. the nugget has a V shape to it and looks like a wishbone ring. It has been polished to a high standard so it shines and any rough edges are smooth for you to wear comfortably. The ring is a size N and is hallmarked with my stamp by the London Assay Office.
If you're not keen on the V shape but like the nugget design I have a similar ring with a straighter nugget on it available in the shop, it is the same size.
To help you look after and care for the pendant I will provide a jewellery box and little piece of polishing cloth for you to use. I advise you to keep it in its box when not worn and don't wear in water. If using perfumes or lotions please don't allow the solution to go on the jewellery. This will keep it at its best for you.
