Although this mask shows faint signs of repair, it is still a stunning example of how mosaic can bring new life to items which could end up in the bin, where I found it.
The mask is heavy. Mosaic tesserae and grout, and thick black tiles on the baseboard, have added weight to the original thick mask.
The mask measures 20x14x8 cm mounted on recycled wood 26x23 cm.
