This is the first in a collection of twelve intimate studies drawn directly from my sketchbook. Each piece is a spontaneous response to time spent on the moors, where light, texture, and atmosphere shift from one moment to the next.
An evocative small artwork for nature-lovers and daydreamers alike, offering a glimpse of wide horizons, quiet solitude, and the raw beauty of wild places.

Created with watercolour, ink, and crayon on smooth heavyweight paper, these pieces are intuitive studies of place and feeling. They hold traces of the wild Peak District landscapes that inspire my work - raw edges, bold marks, soft washes and all.
