This joyful quote is a celebration of ageing with laughter and grace - and it has been hand-stamped into white earthenware clay to create a unique ceramic sign, perfect for gifting or keeping.
Made in my home studio, each piece is created using white earthenware clay, carefully hand-stamped, glazed in a shiny white speckled glaze, and finished with bright dandelion and daisy decals. It hangs from a black wire and adds a cheerful, literary touch to any space.
This ceramic plaque has been made with care over several days and fired three times in the kiln including over 1000 C for a durable, lasting finish.
Measurements:
Sign: 9.8cm high x 8.5cm wide
Full height (including wire): approx. 20.5cm
Please note:
I've done my best to ensure the wire ends are securely tucked in, but as with all handmade items, this piece is not intended for children.
Each one is individually made, so slight variations in shape, glaze, or decal placement are part of what makes it unique.
