A gorgeous vintage quilt folder, providing you with storage for a small embroidery project whilst travelling.
The outer raw edges have been edged with blanket stitches. Inside there are two vintage French linen pockets, edged in a vintage floral print binding.
On the inside front cover, there is a small matching quilt pocket, above which is a row of my mini Suffolk puffs. This is an ideal place to store a few skeins of embroidery thread - one skein is included.
On the back inside cover, is a piece of vintage wool blanket, to store pins, needles or safety pins, also included. This has been attached to the cover with a pair of vintage pearl buttons.
The whole folder fastens with a length of hand dyed tied linen, in a soft pale pink.
Please note that the vintage quilt used to make this needle case, may have wear, commensurate of the age of the fabric, but only adds charm to the finished item. Please do not purchase if you prefer your fabrics to be perfect.
