I like putting things into frames and the idea of having something suspended on the edge, so here I have incorporated that into a pendant.
It's very difficult to set grape agate due to its irregular shape so it was the perfect piece to start with and purple and silver go so well together.

Full description
This little piece of purple grape agate has been suspended on a pendant made of recycled sterling silver. It hangs on an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain.
I have handmade an oval frame and captured the grape agate in a claw setting at the base of the frame. It is held delicately but firmly in place.
The pendant is 4cm in length and 2cm in width whilst the stone is roughly 10mm by 12mm. The frame surround is hammered slightly to give it a rougher more natural appearance and I have not had it hallmarked to save costs but if you would like it hallmarked please get in touch and i will provide you with updated cost and delivery times.
Grape Agate is associated with the third eye Chakra and said to support intuition, providing a link to the crown Chakra. I personally love the colour and bubble shapes that are formed in this quartz.
It will make a lovely gift for yourself or another, an slightly unusual pendant hinting at natural forms and most likely appealing to those in touch with nature.
To help you look after and care for the pendant I will provide a box and little piece of polishing cloth for you to use. I advise you to keep it in its box when not worn and don't wear when in water. If using perfumes or lotions please don't allow the solution to go on the pendant. This will keep it at its best for you.
