Just to let everyone know the shop will shut for Christmas on Sunday 14th December this year.
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. A new pattern for autumn 2025 a little red squirrel with tiny fluffy ears. They are slightly larger than the mice but not as large as the foxes.

Full description
Nutkin is a tiny red squirrel with wool felt tail ans tufty wool felt ears. His face is hand embroidered with twinkling black beads for his eyes. He is dressed in a pretty Liberty Tana Lawn print waistcoat in soft fawn called Classic Meadow, Sporting smart plus fours and a linen shirt his cravat is brown silk. He is firmly stuffed with chamomile to his stuffing for a gentle scent and with a carnelian crystal to his heart. His stout leather boots and foraging bag are ready for a scramble through the trees.
He stand seven inches, has a brass ring to his back to hang and is made to my own pattern in my little studio, Please remember he is not a toy and is not suitable for children.
