US CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ. Unfortunately, due to new tariffs imposed by the US government, we have been forced to increased our postage costs to the US. We will pay the tariff fee on our end so there's no need to worry about paying it yourself, however this means our US customers will now be paying an increased postage fee to include these new tariffs. Although these tariff costs are lower than other countries, we understand that it is still a significant increase for our customers. We should also mention, there may be a delay in receiving your parcel due to the increases in volume of parcels that must now be processed through US customs. We are so very sorry about this, we wish things were different. Gail & Alex xx

This wee fish is a tribute to our heritage. For hundreds of years our family were fisher folk on and off the shores of the north east England and Scotland. During the 19th century the herring industry (a fish that helped fuel the Industrial Revolution) was booming, particularly in the north of England and Scotland; and our ancestors were in the thick of it.
A few years ago we found a fish paste pot on a river foreshore, it was from North Shields and couldn’t help but wonder if it were our family who caught and processed the herring sold in that little pot. So, I (Alex) hand carved and cast these little ‘silver darling’ pendants in recycled sterling silver and hung them on a silver beaded chain that resemble the floats on the fishing nets.

This wee fish is a tribute to our heritage. The sterling silver 'satellite' chain has a quality 8mm trigger clasp and measures 18" in length (approximately). This wee fish is also plated in a high Karat gold for extra pizzazz!

This piece has been assayed and hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office with a traditional full Scottish/UK hallmark for 925 Sterling silver. It is stamped with Alex's unique makers mark which is recorded in the Edinburgh Assay Office historic hallmarking archive.
