Looking out to sea I feel as though I’m seeing an old friend who never ceases to surprise me. The powerful ocean still mostly unexplored, so effected by us and how we live has so much still to teach us.
I hope that my seascapes draw the eye in and let them explore enabling you to leave the troubles pf the day behind even if It’s only for a few minutes.

Full description
Sometimes I like to have a little play and in this piece I stripped it all back and just used black and white paint, focusing initially on tone and movement. Watching the clouds scurrying across the blue sky reflected in the wet sand below, with the ocean a distant strip under the horizon. Life appears peaceful but wonderfully changing in front of your eyes.
