I'm very inspired by the wildlife that I see in the UK, especially the birds that I spot outside of my studio and in my neighbourhood!

Full description
This is an A2 size hand-printed linocut/screen-print entitled 'Starlings'.
One of the first prints I created was a one-colour print of a starling. Since then, I have always wanted to try and create a print of a group of them in flight, showing off their magical patterns and colours. I guess it is a mini-murmuration!
Metallic grey, blue, pink and yellow System 3 inks on white Seawhite 300gsm acid-free paper. I used transparent inks for the colour areas, creating extra colours by overlaying them. The grey ink also has some silver mixed in, giving it a metallic look.
From an edition of 24, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
Hand-printed by myself in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted unframed, and securely in a card tube and sent by first-class Royal Mail Signed-For post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
