Full description
This unique decorative bowl has had many firings in the kiln to achieve the final result.
Using a base layer of transparent glass, and glass powders in varying shades of blue.
The top layer of 'sea foam' was pre fired using small glass frits and granules, which when exposed to high temperatures of around 795 degrees C, pull together and create a wonderful effect.
All layers fired together to a lower temperature to retain the tactile surface.
Finally, placed in a ceramic mould to achieve the bowl shape.
This is a one of a kind statement decorative piece which would be a great centrepiece to any dinning or coffee table. It could also be displayed upright in a stand. ( stand not included).
Measures approx. 28 cm in diameter.
