Only a couple of days left to order for Valentine’s Day… time to order that special gift and say it with spoons rather than flowers! Or as well as flowers. And chocolate. And perhaps a bottle of something sparkly at a romantic restaurant.
And yes! Personalised spoons are back on the menu! In limited quantities as I still have a few issues with my hammering arm...
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A handstamped vintage nickel silver dessert spoon with the words 'For Use in Emergencies' and a little heart in the bowl. A thoughtful gift for anyone who is perpetually short of spoons whether real or metaphorical.
The spoon measures approximately 18cm long and has an ornately embossed handle. It may be Victorian or it may be a little later given that it's nickel silver alloy rather than silver plated.
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand.
Please note that this spoon is nickel silver alloy and not silver plated, as noted above. This means that it's got a 'brassy' tinge and won't ever polish up to a bright 'white' silver colour. Also I bungled the 'E' of 'Emergency' rather. Two good reasons why it is in the Bargain Bin! It is still a perfectly useable spoon though.
Oh and by the way I always combine all the postage...
