Full description
Fused glass decorative dish in an organic round shape with a lattice effect.
Created using long strips of clear glass laid on their sides and sandwiched with small squares of blue and orange transparent art glass. Kiln fired at 760°C, so that the glass fuses together, but some texture remains. As the glass strips soften during heating, the spaces between the glass change shape and open up, giving a pleasing organic look. After the initial firing, the resulting blank is then fired again over a stainless steel former to give the final dish shape.
Looks great on a white shelf or windowsill where it can catch the light.
Measures 15cm approx, with a maximum depth of 4cm.
I use recycled packing where possible, and plenty of it, to keep your item safe during transit.
