Full description
This vibrant streaky sunset over the ocean has been hand-painted onto a glass panel using specialist glass enamels. In a three stage process, a light background wash is first applied and kiln fired to set the enamel. Once cooled, the sunset, ocean and landmass details are painted on and the panel fired again. Finally the glass is set over a curved wave mould and fired at a lower temperature to enable the glass to 'drape' over the mould into the desired shape.
The panel is measures 8cm high, 25cm long with a shallow curve.
Looks beautiful displayed on a windowsill or shelf.
