Full description
This miniature scene of a headland viewed from the ocean at twilight has been hand-painted onto a circular glass panel using specialist glass enamels. In a two stage process, a light background wash is first applied and kiln fired to set the enamel. Once cooled, more detail is added, in the form of a streaky twilight sky, ocean detailing, and lights twinkling on the headland and the panel fired again.
The painted panel measure 10cm, and the deep box frame is 17cm square. The frame is designed to stand upright by itself.
Looks beautiful displayed on a windowsill or shelf.
