Held in my studio in Low Valleyfield, Fife. Cancellations accepted up to 14 days before class Workshop bookings close 14 days prior to class.

Monday 30 March 2026 9 30am - 5pm
Create a textile picture, using a mix of paints, fabrics, threads, textures, machine sewing and hand stitching.
Registration closes 2 weeks prior to workshop date.
Over the course of the day, you will discover the joy of building up your artwork piece using different fabrics, paints and other materials such as ribbon, lace, beads, etc, to give texture, depth and colour. We'll use remnants and scraps to create our panels, reusing waste materials to create true beauty. Once our foundation is laid, we then add more texture and dimension with available materials such as yarns, threads, ribbons, buttons, beads and of course, hand-stitching.
You may not finish your panel in one day, so will be given the opportunity to return at a later date. This will incur an additional fee, and is entirely optional.
Included - all materials and use of studio equipment. Light refreshments will be freely available throughout the day but please bring a packed lunch.
Studio sewing machines will be available, and you're welcome to bring your own machine. You're asked to bring your own sewing kit, containing hand sewing needles, thimble (if you like to use one), scissors, pins, etc.
Clothing - things can get a bit messy so please wear practical clothes.
