Just to let everyone know the shop will shut for Christmas on Sunday 14th December this year.
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. I have sourced Japanese yarn dyed fabrics which add a lovely tweedy detail to this little gentleman's outfit. Lovely quality and in gorgeous colourways. The linen shirt compliments the ensemble xx

Full description
This is Artle, a tiny twilight mouse. He is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. He is dressed in tweedy yarn dyed cotton plus fours with a grey blue linen shirt and a Liberty print cotton waistcoat. The print is called Forest Road in greys and blues. He is finished with tiny buttons, leather shoes and a little black leather bag to match his boots .
He is softly stuffed with chamomile in his stuffing for a gentle scent and he has a tiny citrine crystal at his heart. He has a brass ring to his back in case you want to place him on the wall.
He stands 7 inches tall
He is a folk doll for grown ups and sadly is not suitable for children to play with.
