Just to let everyone know the shop will shut for Christmas on Sunday 14th December this year.
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. Full description
This is Amice, a tiny twilight mouse. She is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. She is dressed in a Liberty tana lawn cotton called Hiro, the dark blue version, a dark blue ground with black spruce outlined by the shining moon. She has coordinating underskirts in red chambray cotton, black tulle mesh and white cotton lace bloomers. Her dress is finished with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and little leather shoes. She is a dark mouse with dark grey ears and tail, white whiskers and an embroidered pink nose.
She is softly stuffed with chamomile in her stuffing for a gentle scent and she has a tiny piece of citrine at her heart. She has a brass ring to her back in case you want to place her on the wall.
She stands 7 inches tall
She is a folk doll for grown ups and sadly is not suitable for children to play with.
