My work is inspired by a smelting pot of nature, folklore and pagan ways as well as the Medieval and Celtic aesthetic synonymous with the Arts & Crafts movement. I strive to capture the organic essence of a subject through colour and light, and combine traditional glasswork techniques with contemporary soft solder and metalworking methods to create detailed, textural pieces that feel both modern yet timeless.

Ribbit! Ribbit! Freeform froggy hand-crafted from sumptuous stained art glass with soft solderwork and copper wire details indicative of the Tiffany copper foil technique:
Gorgeous heavy-textured ringmottle glass in vibrant lime and leaf green brings to life this croaky little character. Each piece has been carefully positioned and hand cut to make the most of the natural undulations and patterning of this truly unique glass variety. Oceanside Pearl and Black has been used to create shadow and movement to his wee wriggly toes and bulging belly. Finished with decorative solderwork in a bronze patina and a hand-painted gold enameled cabochon to set a sparkle in his eye!
