Handmade Viva La Vida design fabric quilted tote bag.
Fully lined with two zipped pockets and magnetic snap closure.
This bag measures 12" (30cm) high plus the length of the handles, which are 11" (28cm) long. It is 15" (38cm) wide and 4.5" (11.5cm) deep.
The exterior of this bag is a lovely 100% cotton printed fabric called Viva La Vida, by Stephanie Thannhauser for Dashwood. It features a vibrant and cute design of Mexican ladies. I have quilted it with straight lines and inserted a zipped pocket into the front panel. This has a matching dark blue zip with gold teeth. I have also added a polished yew button which is my brand label.
The base of the bag, handles and inside top are blue Essex Linen fabric. I have added box corners so that the bag stands up on its' own.
I have sewn a layer of wadding inside the bag to add structure and softness and have quilted the base section and topstitched the handles and seams.
Inside the bag you will find the lining, which is a matching cream with blue stars print by Tilda.
I have inserted a zipped pocket with a light blue zip. The bag closes with a gold coloured magnetic snap.
