Hi and welcome to The Old Button Supplies, where I sell stunning vintage, preloved and new fabrics and haberdashery.
I also have another shop on Folksy - The Old Button Sews - selling beautiful gifts designed and sewn by me, together with some lovely sew it yourself craft kits.
Fabric sample books are such a great source of gorgeous fabrics, and I hate to see them go to landfill when they are no longer needed. It can be tricky to deconstruct the books as the top section is layered with staples and glue, but it's worth it to see the gorgeous bundles of co-ordinated or themed fabrics at the end.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Silver and grey tones, with a hint of gold. These lovely fabrics are from the Silk Road collection by ILIV, and are inspired by the trade routes which connected the East to the West. A blend of geometric and botanical patterns, the bundle includes tapestry jacquards, large scale medallions, neutral wovens, floral prints and trailing embroideries. All beautifully co-ordinated.
Zero waste - salvaged from a curtain and upholstery sample book that was destined for landfill before I rescued it. I carefully deconstructed the book, and cut the usable fabric from each sheet with a rotary blade.
Ideal for all sorts of crafts - you can patch them together to make cushions or bags, or use separately for smaller projects like book covers or pincushions. They would also be gorgeous used for Christmas decorations or decorative items.
11 pieces of fabric. They differ in type and composition - some are 100% cotton, others are viscose or poly mixes. (Note there is no silk in these fabrics - it's the name the manufacturer gave to the collection).
Over half a metre in total, the pieces vary in size from 21 by 10 cm to 26 by 37 cm.
CHARITY DONATION - a minimum of £1 from each pack will be given to my local branch of Project Linus, who make patchwork quilts for disadvantaged children.
