Full description
This is a beautiful spiral bookmark, hand crafted from solid recycled Sterling Silver 925. I have lightly hammered it by hand on one side so it catches the light, then polished it to shine. The simple spiral design reminds me of a winding journey or path, and it gives the bookmark its spring to hold the page.
I really love books! So it was a pleasure to make the first one as a gift for a friend who also loves reading. The bookmark looks lovely against the page (as modelled in the photographs using Richard Power’s wonderful novel, ‘Playground’). You can choose which way it fits and sits on your page - each one is individually made by hand and unique!
This bookmark makes a meaningful gift for anyone who loves books, reading, or a handmade and unique treasure. I’ll package it up carefully in a jute bag with a handmade label ready to write on.
