Full description
Pretty little fused glass dish featuring a soft pink blossom.
This is a small dish, measuring just 12cm across and standing just under 4cm high, but it has a chunky, substantial feel, as it is made from several layers of glass.
Constructed from clear art glass, champagne coloured transparent glass and white 'stringers', which are 1mm narrow glass rods, and accented with green and yellow glass powders, the dish required intricate laying out of the component pieces and multiple firings.
Looks great as a display item - preferably place on a plain, white coloured surface or the surface will be visible through the transparent glass and the delicate effect will be lost - as demonstrated in the final image
