Full description
This pretty bracelet is made from glass beads and a needle felted and embroidered ‘charm’ strung on a leather thong. It is secured with a silicon bead fastener which allows it to be slipped easily over the hand and secured as you like to wear it (tight or looser).
I have created the ‘charm’ by needle felting wool fibre and yarn into a plain motif. I then use yarn and embroidery to add colour, pattern and detail.
I use fibre, spun yarn, silk embroidery thread and wool felt in my pieces. The fibre and spun yarns are mainly wool but some contain elements of silk and, occasionally, a small proportion of manmade fibres.
